I have three mains downlights in my bathroom, which I want to replace with 3 new downlights in exactly the same locations, using the same cables, i.e. a straightforward dis/reconnect job. Is this permissable under the revised electrical building regs? (I'll be selling the house soon & don't want to come a cropper on silly things during a survey). Thanks

Replacements are not notifiable even in special locations so you are fine. Make sure they are suitable downlights though (IPX4 or above).
