Office 2007 Outlook Default Font

I am trying to change the default font for reading INCOMING emails.
Ive goooogled but cant find it & I find the M/$ help F'in useless.

I use Office XP, it might be the same if so.

In outlook try going to: Tools, Options, Mail Format and click on the Font button. You can then change the fonts you want.

Will that not run the risk of possibly upsetting any formatting applied by sender?

I normally read mail as text only - safest so they say - When satisfied regarding content, If I should then wish to see the bells and whistles .. Alt+Shift+H displays message in HTML.
That is with OE.

No idea if it will change senders fonts, as I use Incredimail, it shouldn't. Where possible I steer clear of Microsoft products.
