Coming a cropper, Plastic / copper?

Hi,

Would like to cover up mains hot water feed from combi boiler in plaster... I am assured this is ok for copper pipes, but doesn't plastic expand more, and will this end in broken plaster?

Advice much appreciated!

I wouldn't do this with either copper or plastic.

In fact, if I understand the Water Regulations correctly, you should duct the pipe before embedding it.

yep the plaster will only crack unless you duckt it!

Where's a good place to buy ducting, and what else is it called because I can't find it on the net?
