Jammed Sink Plug
Reply with quote Thanks

Can anyone help please? I have a sink plug that closes when you push the lever down. It has broken leaving me with a closed sink hole.

I\\\'ve looked at the back of the sink but there is only a hole where the rod (which was connected to the lever) was. I\\\'ve tried putting the rod back but it is still jammed. I\\\'ve tried putting screw driver in the hole and I\\\'ve tried leveraging out the metal plug
in the sink but it\\\'s jammed.

Any ideas?

Can you get underneath the basin/sink to free off or dismantle the pop-up mechanism.

If so, then buy an ordinary waste kit, install it, and then throw the pop-up waste as far you can in any direction of your choosing.
