Hi, can anyone help.
Recently had a problem with my electric oven.
Had to replace the lighted switch on the wall in kitchen.
Old one was easy, switch off, light off. switch on, light on.
The switch I've replaced it with stays lighted all the time (?)
The only difference I can see with old and new is there are no wires coming out of the back of lighted bulb, its all enclosed on my new switch. Whereas the old one had 2 wires to L/N.
Any help would be appreciated, I don't think I've wired it up incorrectly as oven works just fine. thanks in advance.

most likely you've wired it backwards.

There should be two pairs of Live and Neutral terminals in the switch.

One pair will be marked LOAD or similar and the other marked FEED

The oven must be connected to the pair marked LOAD.
