removing hair dye from wood stained cabinets

I have tried everything bleach,rubbing alcohol,nail polish remover,goof off etc. nothing worked. I'm trying ZUD heavy duty cleanser on a Q-tip and it's working. Just rub gently as to not scatch wood.
