Do I bleed pressurised radiators? The upstairs ones always seem colder at the bottom than top?

Why do you think you need to bleed the rads? If there was air in them they'd be cold at the top. What temperatures are the flow and return connections?

Cold at bottom = sludge

Cold at top = air in rads icon_rolleyes.gif

Not necessarily. It may just be poor circulation. That's why I asked about flow and return pipe temperatures. Sludge would be indicated only if the return was close to the temp of the flow.
