is their anyone in tyneside who still does this? i have an old style house with a gable end that has this on. i want to take the portch off but i will be left with a portion of wall needing blending in. i have had real problems finding a company that still carries out this work?

You could have a go yourself, the hand cranked machine is quite cheap, and the snowcrete is easily mixed. You might have to go over the whole wall to blend it in, pleasant enough job for the easily pleased.
