mira 88/thermostatic equivalent

im swapping a mira 88 rigid valve for a thermostatic.Mira recomend the Silver or the Element.Just wondering if any1 had swapped them.Im looking for as little alterations/tile removal as possible.

Personally I would go with the 415 combiforce if you have a modulating combi or the Excell which is fully thermostatic.They have the same overall dimensions and connections as the 88.

I know because I swapped my 88 for a combiforce.

personally i would have went with the excell,but its for a customer who wants the cheapest sollution.it is a modulating combi Worcester 30cdi which i fitted and thats why i need to change the shower
