10mm to 15mm Pipe

Hi was wondering if you could answer the following question with regards to radiator replacement. I am replacing 3 of my radiators which currently use 10mm piping connecting to either ends of the radiator. I wish to replace the pipes with 15mm Chrome-plated pipe, just below the floor with compression converter fittings, will this cause any issues with regards to a drop in pressure in the system and its functionality? The current system is gravity fed from a tank in my loft. I'm assume this should be ok as it is only a 20-30cm section I'm replacing for Aesthetics sake. Your advice would be greatly received. Cheers Dave. icon_biggrin.gif

Sounds like my BG days.

1/2 hour on the phone for an FFD for a cooker.

Daft bird eventually come back with "is it the chrome headed dome screw you need?")

I resigned 3 days later.

Mental torture.

Cheers for your response guys. Will have a crack this weekend. Really looking forward to crawling about under the house. Might have few beers beforehand to numb the brain...... icon_biggrin.gif

You will probably need to get the chrome off the ends of the pipe where you want to attach the compression fittings, sometimes the olives won't fit and it can be hard to get a good seal.
