Hi, i wonder if anyone can assist with a little advice. I'm about to float an oak floor in my newly built room measuring 6mtrs by 4mtrs, boards are approx 180mm wide 20mm thick. I hope to lay straight onto 100mm Celotex that has been overlaid with a DPM. The question is does that sound ok or does anyone think I need an underlayment of some sort? and any other advice about expansion shrinking etc.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Cheers

rigid inso' boards such as cellotex and kingspan can have flooring grade material, 18mm or thicker, laid straight on top. |
