Hi Folks,

Just recently moved into a new flat that an old person had and am finding wee problems here and there as I go along…

I noticed last night that there is a small leak under the kitchen sink. It seems to drip quite bad when the sink is full of water and when draining off.

It seems to be where the waste is connected to the bottom of the sink. This suspicion is further confirmed by the side of a rubber washing showing in the sink – looks like someone has tightened the plughole on too hard.

Do I just buy new rubber washers and reconnect everything back up again or is there anything else I should buy before I start doing this?

Cheers

Buy a new plug hole and washers kit. Only cost you pennies. You shouldn't need any silicon for a kitchen sink so don't go down that route. :D
