Fence Post Anchoring

I would like to install a 6 foot fence with the posts anchored to a mortared brick patio having a concrete base. What are my anchoring options?

Don't know about the availability of this product in the US of A, but in the UK a product called 'metpost' would be suitable.

There are two basic variants, the first which is a metal spike which can be driven into the ground, or a surface mounted version which is screwed or bolted down.

The wooden post then sits into a square recepticle at the top and bolts clamp the post securely.
