Just bought a thermostatic mixer shower but there is no guidance about which way round the hot and cold feeds go into the mixer unit. Is there a rule of thumb or should I contact the manufacturer?

icon_idea.gif set it to max cold, blow up one of the inlets and see which one is the least restrictive. that'll be the cold. to make sure, set it max hot and do the same.
