hi can i use plastic push fit pipe on my mains supply to an electric shower

yes as long as you've got enough space inside your wall chase, unless its surface mounted pipework

you will have to change to copper for the last bit, most electic showers need a compression fittinng for final connection

you can use a comp fitting on poly pipe breezer just dont forget the insert and use a copper olive

what about earthing issues?

when earthing / bonding its the pipework and fittings, not the water you should be worried about
