MDF painting for a high gloss finish

i am trying to paint mdf to give it a high gloss look

i was planning on doing it with 2k car paint

does anyone have any better suggestions?

try Once Gloss for wood and paintwork, technically MDF is not wood, its just mashed up saw dust held toegther with glue, but it should work...........

A true high gloss finish is very hard to achieve. If you want to know how it's done search this sectgion of the forum - the details were posted about 6 to 8 months back (I think)

I painted MDF last week and got a really glossy finish, i used an undercoat and then professional liquid high gloss finish, it would obviously drip but gives a much better finish.
