Securing a free standing bath.

Hi,
I bought a second hand free standing bath.
It's modern with chrome feet (can't have everything).
I was planning on tiling the bathroom floor and sitting the bath on top of the tiles.
It is quite heavy, but my hunch is when it is in situ it might slide about!
There are little groves in the feet.
Does this mean I will have to drill through the tiles, or does anyone know of a different method.

Yes you need to fix it down. Easy enough to mark the floor and drill holes but getting the fixings into the slots is a pain in the butt.

I'd glue the feet down, assuming they're a couple of inches or so across. If you use something like Nail and Seal, it would be impossible to move the bath. You'd need a crowbar to prise the feet off the tiles.

Thanks for the help.
I would like to screw it down but terrified I might lay the tiles and break one when drilling the holes, so I will go for the bonding method.

I also have a shower tray with polystyrene honeycombed base under the plastic.
The shower is free standing with one plastic side and three glass sides, so does not have to be flush to the wall. Could the stuff for the bath feet be used on the shower base, round the edges or smother the whole base with sealant?. I don't know if the base is waterproof?
