Cleaning grout off tiles

We've just put in new ceramic wall tiles. The tiles have small dents in them as part of the patten and the grout has settled and dried in the dents. What is the best way to clean up the tiles? Is there a special cleaner?

Invent a time machine and go back in time to the moment you applied the grout, then wipe it off before it sets!

Worth trying patio cleaner, but be careful, wear gloves and goggles, it can be dangerous stuff.
