Hi: Boiler fires up and the water coming from the tap starts off hot but quickly gets very cold.

Any suggestions for what I could try ?

Cheers

I suspect this is a permanent pilot four pipe boiler.

And the DHW flow switch may have failed ( black plastic on left ) if its the model I suspect.

Could also be a wide range of other faults whatever the model.

Thats part of the fun of fixing boilers. Whatever it sounds like being failed there is sometimes an unexpected surprise!

Depends on the model! Few use the Gianoni any more.

The four pipe HEs have a high heat content on a PP boiler and will give 2-5 litres of hot water from the latent heat stored.

The models with a secondary HE will give much less and thats not usually even enough to be noticed by the user.

So I am guessing its the PP four pipe model. Was that the 24i ?

Thanks, everyone. Its the 24I RSF model. Its not the fan, the pressure is OK (around 1 bar) and it seems as though it may be the pressure switch.

Is this easy to change ?
