we have a smeg dishwasher ( DF612SE) or atleast very similar in apearence to this one.

trouble im getting with it now is you put a wash cycle on and for aprox 5 mins it does what it should then stops. it just puts on 2 or some times 3 of the panel lights. if i open the door n restart it it will again do the same thing 5 mins later ?????

any one got an idea what i should check ect ?

If it's a Smeg then the lights are an error code. Counting from the left let us know which ones are lit.

Error code 3. Not heating.
Check the thermostat and the heater.
Both should be under the dishwasher. Some have a thermostat with a red button to reset it.

I was about to buy a Smeg DF612SE as its up for £269 at the moment at http://www.prudentpanda.co.uk/c372/b1587/p70529/smeg-df612se/best-price.aspx. Would you still recommend that i do based on the problems you've been having?[/u]
