alarm tamper

Hello
having problems with my veritas 8 alarm panel,alarm keeps going off at different times of day with tamper problems ! so far changed battery and linked out tamper circuit.
I fitted the alarm about four years ago with no problems untill now,
Any help or advise gratefully received

does it not indicate on wht cct the tamper is?

no just light comes up on control panel

Link out the bell tamper by fitting a loop from the 12v- to the tamper return.

The wet weather is giving me similar problems.

Remove any wires from the tamper cct(s) and use a link instead, and as joe-90 says link from -ve to tamper return.

also check battery charging voltage, and battery voltage

Also make sure the panel lid tamper is closing.

And also check the keypad is properly clicked into its backing plate as there is an anti tamper spring in there too, which will still be shown on the panel even with all the tamper terminals linked out on the main PCB.

Could be the sounder. Some older boxes flex in extremes of temperature & set off BB tamper.
