Noisy boiler

I see many posts re noisy boilers and I too seem to have one; a Gloworm Ultimate, Balanced Flue, Natural Gas boiler. It has a cast iron heat exchanger. It pops and bags for several minutes when the boiler starts up and also continues to kettle for several minutes after the initial noises; so loud it even wakes my youngest son up ! It drives a Thermal store hot water system and the house radiators. I have thoroughly cleaned out the burner area and applied some water treatment which worked for a while, but now it is as noisy as ever. I have not tried any kind of flush yet.

Does anyone have any ideas what I should do next ?

I have the same problem im currently cleaning fins and bujner area.I flushed mine a while ago with fernox but seems to be the same.Im going to find out if there is something stronger
