I'm connecting 40mm waste from a macerator to a cast iron soil stack. What's the minimum distance from the top of the stack to where I can fit the waste branch.

You need to ensure a fall so don't get fitting it near the top

I always though that the min distance was 1 metre, but I can't remember why or where I got that from...
