Fence posts
Reply with quote Thanks

Hi,
I am currently putting a 4ft high d-rail fence around my house but i have a problem as the ground is very soft and i feel i won't get the posts sturdy enough to support my fence.. the surface is a new garden and the soil is still loose. my posts are 6ft. Is there anything i can do

Regards

longer posts?

i put in some "posts" to support some bamboo screening, posts were 8 feet tall sceening is 6 foot tall, posts are now 1 foot below the top of screening. (so 3 foot of post is in the ground)

if your soli is that loose a concrete boot will still wobble due to leverage (i would suspect) hence get the longest posts you can.
