Bath Installation Sequence
Hi all,
Just a quick one. I have my new bath in the bedroom waiting for me to install it, I havent done it yet as im waiting to tile first. However, I have just been told that this is a bad idea and should tile after installing the bath. Can anyone offer any advice on this?
Thanks,
Wazz

Some recommend chasing plaster out to slot the bath into, making the passage of water more difficult to get round bath edge. Fill bath full with water after tiling and and silicone under last row of tiles, let water out after silicone has set.

Tile first to within 1 tile from the bath rim, fit bath, seal bath to wall with mildew resistant silicone, then cut tiles to bath rim and reseal. PROPER JOB. chrisey
