I always protect mine, but would only put pipes in walls as a last resort. Will probably at least keep cracking the plaster icon_rolleyes.gif

Hi sorry for the late response, I have been away for a few days. The reason I asked this question is that I want to put a radiator in my conservatory. The only place the pipes can come in is at the apex so ideally i want to just drop down the wall to the rad (under the plaster), otherwise it will mean running the pipes round the edge of the conservatory and putting capping over them which will not look good.

thanks for your response
