Hi,
My Mum has just moved into a flat and there are loads of spur sockets running everywhere. I have two questions:
- How many spur sockets can a 32 amp ring take? (I have read that they must not exceed the number of sockets on the ring - is this correct)
- Is there a limit to the cable length to a spur? (some run in excess of 12ft).
I'm not a fan of spurs and I am going to rewire for her eventually, but in the meantime would like to get rid of excess spurs etc.
Any info. would be gratefully received!
Many thanks

If you are not an electrician then it would be best to get a periodic inspection from a qualified electrician and also be aware it is illegal to rewire domestic dwellings without either building control or a registered domestic installer as part "p" of building control came into force jan 05 |
