Hiya,

We just purchased a new house and we're having a few problems with the french doors. When its been hot during the day, the top part of the doors catch where one of the metal lock brackets is. The fitters also seem to of cross threaded one of the stay bars so that's going to need to be sorted.

I was just wondering, can you adjust these hinges:

I tried adjusting the little allen key in the middle but not sure that actually did anything!

the little allen screw that's visible should just be a security screw to stop the pins being removed from the outside. Make sure they are left tight.

If you pop off the white caps above and below that grub screw you should have access to the adjustment screws.

if you run out of adjustment on those hinges you can still get movement by adjusting the 'toe and heeling' of the door
