Door hanging off hinge

One of our internal doors is hanging off hinge.

Screwing the screws back into existing holes only temporarily helps.

What is best way to rehang door - make a new set of holes further up the door frame and hange bottom hinge there, or is there anything that can be used where existing holes are?

PVA glue some homemade dowls into the holes and leave over night, trim them off and refit the hinge in the same place

make sure the screws are fully threaded
knock in matchsticks or whittled wood
