Does anyone know why units with duff seals get wetter between the panes in hot weather when it is far too hot to condense? I'm guessing that it is something to do with relative humidity - but does anyone know exactly why?

They don't get wetter, the moisture which collects in the frame gets air born easier and condenses on the glass overnight.Therefor it becomes more visible, but it was always there.

Why doesn't it evaporate away in the hot sun? You can actually see it dribble down.

Where will it evapourate to Joe?

Remember if it does it'll rise to the top, no good at all if the failed sealant is at the bottom so it'll just stay in the cavity

Well it got in - so why doesn't it get out again? Why does it go in? There must be some kind of 'engine' at work.
