Filling small screw holes in UPVC door and windows?

I've seen on the internet people saying just blob a bit of white silicone sealant in there.

But what about using white decorator's caulk instead?

I'm only asking as I've already bought 2 tubes of the stuff to do other jobs with.


The holes are just where net curtain wires have been installed at some point (I'm guessing). About 2mm in diameter.

Caulk will do but as its made to be overpainted it will probably discolor faster than silicone
