We need to replace the sealed unit in a velux window and just wanted some advice.

I know how to get the old glass out but I know that the new glass will need some kind of sealant - can anyone advise if there's anything particular to velux that we need to use and where to get it?

Been trying to read up and saw somewhere that spacers are required as well as the sealant. Is this the case for velux as well as ordinary windows?

Want to make sure we've got everything we need before we start.

There is nothing special required, the glass unit sits on a rubber gasket and from memory has plastic blocks on the bottom for the glass to rest on when its shut, no sealant needed as the tin ware covers all joints

Fantastic, thank you. :)

Any ideas where I'd get the sealant strip from?
