Can anyone tell me the difference or if once is better than the other when talking about pressurised treated timber.

I'm looking for some external cladding and one company sells it brown or green finished colour and the other in clear? Are they are good as each other because if so I'd like the clear so my stain will show it's true colour

Clear treatments require a coating as they are water soluble (will wash out).

Copper organic treatments form a permanant bond with the timber.

that's not something they tell you when you purchase timber, that the clear treatment isn't as good and requires protection. They just told me it was the same at our local supplier.

So are the brown and green treatment the same and are classed as tanalised?

Either way I'm going to be adding Ronseal 5 year woodstain but I'd like the wood to have the most protection under that too.
