Hi
I've always been interested in wood working. So much so I've decided to do a course in it. I want to make a table like structure with the work top surface cut out so I can hang two plastic trays. I was going to use MDF because it's fairly cheap even from B &Q and easy to cut. However afaik it doesn't like being wet.

What do you guys recommend I use? This is the osrt of thing am after

Also it shouldn't be too difficult for a complete novice right?
