  Introduction

Linoleum is warm to stand on, comfortable and quiet to walk over. Linoleum is available in a variety of coloured and shaped tiles or room lengths. It is a resilient surface covering.

Linoleum is easy to cut and suitable for areas where complicated cuts have to be made. It comes in a smooth or cushioned finish, for a more comfortable feel. It is an inexpensive floor covering, more suitable to kitchens and bathrooms.

  Cleaning and caring for linoleum

They can be swept or vacuumed, but be careful not to scratch the surface. Use undiluted cleaner to remove scuff marks. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the surface.

Wash with water and liquid floor cleaner or mild detergent, but avoid soaking with water in case it seeps under the tiles. Use a non-slip water-based floor wax and buff clean.
