  Burglar Alarms

There are various systems available at a range of prices, offering total security with easy installation and the facility to expand at a later stage if you wish. The sighting of a siren or bell prominently displayed on a wall of the premises is an immediate deterrent to the majority of burglars. A noisy alarm will greatly reduce his length of time of stay if he still entered your premises.

There are whole house systems warning of break-ins, one box units or devices that detect an intruder once inside the property. There are wire free alarm systems available with magnetic contacts and passive infrared detectors. The Siren and Strobe are powered by long life batteries lasting up to 4 years. A manually operated panic button can be fitted which is very sensitive and the slightest pressure will set off the alarm.

Burglar alarms fall into one of two categories. Some come as a combination of both the passive system and the perimeter system. There are many self-installation kits available or professionals can fit the more complex systems.
