  CCTV

These systems are becoming increasingly popular. Many CCTV uses a PIR (passive infrared sensors), which detects movement within its range and then triggers the CCTV to activate. There are various types on the market.

The basic model consists of one fixed camera, allowing you to change channels on your TV set. This will allow you to see a black and white picture and hear from the camera view.

A more advanced system will provide more than one fixed camera, PIR sensors and auto-VCR starters. Once a movement is detected, a signal is sent to the VCR, instructing it to record the view from the camera. The system allows you to talk to visitors and record them as well if you wish. They are easy to install and connect straight into your TV or VCR via the Scart socket. They are supplied with all the necessary fixings and installation instructions.
