  Washable Fabrics

 
Mix together bicarbonate of soda and salt in cold water. Paste onto the affected area, and leave for fifteen minutes. Wash the paste off with cold water, soak in biological detergent, wash as normal.
 
  Non Washable Fabrics

 
Apply the paste as for washable fabrics above. Carefully sponge off with cold water, then have the garment dry-cleaned.
