  Washable Fabrics

 
Scrape off what you can of crayon, brush off chalk. Dissolve washing-up liquid in warm water, then sponge marks. Indelible crayon can be removed with a proprietary stain remover, wash as normal.
 
  Non Washable Fabrics

 
Remove as much as possible by scraping and brushing, Take to dry-cleaners.
 
  Carpets and Furnishings

 
Scrape off as much as possible, then sponge with detergent to disperse stain. Indelible crayon can be mopped with methylated spirits, or cleaning solvent, but care is needed when using these as colour may be drawn from the fabric.
