  Washable Fabrics

 
Place the article in a fridge or freezer to set the putty, then pick off excess. Use a commercial stain remover then wash article at the hottest temperature it will take.
 
  Non Washable Fabrics

 
Place the article in the fridge to set, then pick off excess putty. Carefully spot the stain with a commercial stain remover if the stain is small, otherwise take to the dry-cleaners.
 
  Carpets and Furnishings

 
Using ice cubes in a plastic bag to set the putty, pick off excess then use a commercial stain remover. Follow with a carpet or upholstery shampoo.
