Run under running cold water, then apply neat washing-up liquid from the back of the article Rinse off then wash in the usual way.
 
  Non Washable Fabrics

 
Sponge with cold water, then use methylated spirit to remove any remaining stain. Dry clean if stain persists.
 
  Carpets and Furnishings

 
Treat as non-washable fabrics.
