  Washable Fabrics

 
Rub the article with hot water containing washing up liquid. Thoroughly rinse with cold water, then wash as normal.
 
  Non Washable Fabrics

 
Minor splashes can be treated with a commercial stain remover. Otherwise take to dry-cleaners.
 
  Carpets and Furnishings

 
Sponge carefully with a solution of 15ml(one tablespoon)of borax to 500ml(one pint)of water, mop off surplus. If stain remains use stain remover. Shampoo if necessary.
