  Washable Fabrics

 
Remove as much as possible, immerse in warm water and allow to soak for a while, then wash as normal. Dried on stains may respond to a soak in a mixture of 10ml (two teaspoons) of borax in one litre (two pints) of lukewarm water before washing.
 
  Non Washable Fabrics

 
Using a damp cloth carefully wipe of excess, gently sponge with warm water, otherwise dry-clean.
 
  Carpets and Furnishings

 
Using a damp cloth carefully wipe off excess then with rinse with warm water. If necessary use a carpet or upholstery shampoo.
