Do not use methylated spirit on acetates. Dab immediately with methylated spirit, then wash in biological detergent, making sure article is well rinsed.
 
  Non Washable Fabrics

 
Wipe at once with methylated spirit, take to dry-cleaners if stain does not shift.
 
  Carpets and Furnishings

 
Treat in the same way as non-washable articles.
