Not really but the battens are level so should not the unit be square to the battens?

Fitting a Corner kitchen unit
Trying to fit a corner unit and have put 2 battens up at right anles which are both 100% level. Offering up the unit and it will not go square or level. Can get 1 side level and plumb but not the other. Really HACKED off. Anyone advise please :

You need BCO approval for this work. : The clay pipe should be around 750 mm below ground so the fall will not be a problem.
