Gardening

Often people will buy a pump for their pond thinking this will make a nice fountain, they get it home only to find there is no fountain nozzle / jet. This is not because some one has stolen it from the box. (Well it may be) But more often than not it will be because it is a waterfall or filter pump.

Not all pumps are able to operate nozzles, filter and waterfall pumps are designed to pump a high volume of water to a low height, which is ideal for a filter or waterfall, but fountain nozzles need water at “high” pressure in order for them to work, so the pump you have just bought has no nozzle.
