SCOPE OF WORK Whole Interior Re Decoration • Bedrooms – ceiling & walls to be finished in Tivoli 206 • Lounge/HSL – ceilings to be finished in Phthalo Green 199, & walls to be finished in Tivoli 206 • Bathroom ceiling – to be finished in Tivoli 206 • Kitchen – ceiling to be finished Phthalo Green 199, walls to be finished in Marigold 209 • All woodwork to be finished in Joanna 130 All paint materials used are to be ‘Little Greene’ only, & specific to each substrate. Hardwearing floor paint for the stairs, for example. TERMS AND EXCLUSIONS • ESTIMATE - The price given is a true estimate of what we expect to charge you. If there are circumstances that we could not been aware of, that will affect the price, we will provide you with an updated estimate. You have the right to accept the price or decline. Payment will be required for any work completed up to the point you cancel. • DELAY – We will try to complete the work within the agreed time. We are only liable for delays caused by our negligence. Any work will be completed within a reasonable time. • PAYMENT (I) - Payment will be requested promptly upon completion of your work. You must make every effort to settle your bill on the last day of work. Delay in balance will result in additional charges for delayed payment. We accept cash, card and bank transfer payment. In the unlikely event you are dissatisfied you are entitled to withhold an amount to cover any corrective work that may be required. We should be given the opportunity to complete any corrective work. • PAYMENT (II) – We ask for full materials fund and deposit on all jobs undertaken and weekly interim  payments will be required if works exceed one week. You will be informed in advance if this is to be the case and any deposits and/or interim payments will be deducted from your final invoice accordingly. Any interim payments requested will never exceed the value of materials or work carried out up to that date. • COMPLAINTS – We work in line with the Supply of Goods & Service Act, which states that any work or service carried out for you must be done with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time and for a reasonable charge (if not agreed beforehand). Any goods/parts provided should be of satisfactory quality, fit for the purpose of and as described. If a problem arises, we aim to resolve the issue within a reasonable time. • CANCELLATION – If this contract is agreed in your home, you will be given information of your right to cancel within 14 days. This is in line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Charges) Regulations 2013. If you cancel this contract outside the fourteen days, we reserve the right to deduct/claim the direct costs we have incurred and/or the full deposit amount. SITE PREPARATION - Prior to our arrival on your agreed date all working areas must be cleared allowing us to carry out our work unhampered. Smaller items and breakables should be boxed and removed completely. Where possible, please remove smaller furniture to another room also. Let us know of any larger items that cannot be removed and we will either make arrangements to have them removed or cover them up to the best of our ability along with your existing floor covering and immovable objects such as kitchen units or built in wardrobes.  START DATES - We normally agree a proposed start date upon acceptance of our quote, however, from time to time there may be circumstances outside of our control (such as the weather or delays by other trades) that prevent us from getting to you by the agreed date. In the event of this being the case, we will contact you immediately to make you aware and to agree a change to the date. By accepting this quotation you are accepting these terms and conditions. UNFORESEEN WORK- Every effort has been made to provide you with a quotation that is as accurate as possible however there are occasionally unforeseen problems that will need to be addressed before we can proceed. These can sometimes come in the form of poor wall condition found underneath wallpaper that is being removed as part of your job / painting on top of lining paper or previously badly prepared woodwork. Should any of this damage or complications arise, we will discuss all options and additional costs with you before proceeding. If necessary we can recommend other trades such as plasterers to you on a no obligation basis
