I have lived in Germany since 1981. Computer specialist, retired. Active DIYer, used to build cars for a hobby, angler when I have time. I have built several built in cupboards with display and fluorescent lighting. At present rebuilding our kitchen from the ground up, been at it for 3 months. Two internal walls removed, doorway and one window blocked up, one window moved to a new position, new window in where that one was (to allow a normal tap to be used on the sink), panelled ceiling, 2 x OSB walls (timber frame building does not allow a cupboard to be hung on it!!) All electric finished (over 20 sockets), Wall papering finished (only job I did not do!), at present building a built in cupboard with sliding doors with electrical sockets and the connections for the under seating breakfast area heating, next is the floor to be laid and then the kitchen itself arrives.....
