I give up! Can't get any cold...

The manual and instructions say quite clearly to connect it as per normal to a shower pump. The steam generator and other attachments come off a diverter valve. From the water supply feeds to the unit there is just the hot and cold feeds, which then feed the other shower attachments via the...

I give up! Can't get any cold...

It's a bit fancy (though the basic 2 water feeds aren't and water doesn't even come out when the shower isn't connectd anyway) - a 8004-A (http://www.bathtek.com/steam_showers_sauna_8004a.htm) although what really baffles me is if I unisoalte everything and just leave the bare pipes unstoppered...

I give up! Can't get any cold...

Sorry was a bit stressed last night, water coming through the ceiling etc. Calmed down a little now though no further forward.. Basicaly I isolated the hot and cold and disconnected the old power shower leaving just the pipes coming out the wall (I'm trying to refurbish my bathroom)...

I give up! Can't get any cold...

It's a standard power shower, with two inlet pipes which go to the wall where a hot copper pipe and a cold copper pipe are located. When there is nothing connected to the cold pipe, even if the water is not isolated, nothing comes out. However, the same cannot be said for the hot..

I give up! Can't get any cold...

Hey there's no need to be blatantly rude, I'm just a woman at home trying her best to sort the bathroom out.. In simple terms, I've connected a new shower up to the water supply. Hot water comes out, cold water doesn't. However both supplies are not isolated in anyway and cold water is...

I give up! Can't get any cold...

Right guys, this one has completely and utterly stumped me.... To cut a long story short, I'm replacing a shower. However when I connect the new shower up, the cold will not come out. The cold for the rest of the bathroom comes off the same pipe via a t junction and everything else in the...

This shower feed is perplexing me...

Just had an idea... Could it be from the Economy 7 storage tank??.. The water coming out is cold but we haven't had the heating on for months.

This shower feed is perplexing me...

Negative! Have stopped the water quite a lot over the past week (moving basin etc) and not had this problem anywhere, and we definately just have the one (hot) tank in the loft!

This shower feed is perplexing me...

Hi, I'm trying (note the word trying and not succeeding!) to remove the old power shower from the wall, then the bath and replace with an all in one shower cabinet. Sounds easy. I've managed to get the unit off the wall so I am left with the hot and cold pipes sticking out of the tiles. All...

Lit up mirror to heater electrics and thermostat probs!

Another bathroom woe I'm afraid. Well 2 actually now I've thought about it: 1) I have an old dimplex heater on the bathroom wall which I want to get rid of (pull cord broken anyway) and replace with a lighted mirror. Is it possible to use the electrics already there as they are in similar...

Two way switch, I can't get the light off!!!

Yep, my apologies, there are 4 earth wires, all wrapped in one sleeve. Will try a red to the live, will let you know the result!!

Two way switch, I can't get the light off!!!

Hope you clever chaps can help me... I've replaced all the lights in the house (apart from the one at the bottom of the stairs I'm having trouble with), eventually all have gone well except the last one (predictably!). Replaced the ceiling rose with a new pendant light. The light is at the...
