hi, iam trying to fit a light in my living room, why is their three lots of cables? i have wired it up all three red to brown all black to blue and earths to the light base the trip goes off straight away when pressed? can anyone help?

At what pressure do the boilers run at mine is running at bellow half a bar? if to low does anyone have any info on how to increase? The only work i have done was repair a slight leak on a rad pipe and had to fit a new olive, i lost next to no water but dont know much manged to leak out.cheers
